The Pauline's Vineyard in Dry Creek Valley is fast becoming one of our customers favorites. The Dry Creek Valley is known for its' Zinfandel and this wine won't disappoint you. We make our Zinfandels in the same way we produce our Pinots using hand processing and aging in French Oak. The result is an elegant and delicious Zinfandel that compliments food rather than overpowers it. It's as enjoyable to sip alone as it is paired with your favorite BBQ and spicier fare. The Pauline's Vineyard is and extension of the relationship we have with Randy Peters of the Peters Vineyard. Owned by Randy's Dad and named for his mother, Randy manages this vineyard with the same love and skill as he does the Peters Vineyard. The vineyard is located right across the street from our winery location, so we're able to keep a pretty close eye on those grapes! The 2005 growing season was a rather long one. We had an early heat wave but the summer was rather cool and it took quite a while for the fruit to ripen. The result was wine with higher acid, which means that it is particularly great with food and will have longevity in your cellar. We hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor! Salute! |

Deep garnet in color leading to an aromatic nose of luscious berry, plum and delicate oak. On the palate it presents ripe fruit up front and further pleases with elegance and nicely integrated tannins. The refined spicy finish lingers pleasantly, beckoning you to take your next sip. |
