| Hot Dogs for Dogs |

During the Barrel Tasting weekends, we sold hot dogs to happy wine tasters with all the proceeds going to Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). Canine Companions trains and provides assistance dogs to folks in need nationwide.
CCI, the largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs in the country, provides highly trained dogs to children and adults with disabilities. These assistance dogs perform tasks that many take for granted: they pick up dropped items, turn on light switches, open doors and more. | In October 2007, the Wine Spectator presents us with their Critics Choice Award “in recognition for producing one of the world’s greatest wines.” We were honored to receive this most prestigious award. As you can see in the picture of Ben holding the plaque, he was thrilled to be recognized for his winemaking contributions. |
